IDENTIFYING & WORKING WITH         
STUDENT INJURIES

This workshop will examine the most common yoga injuries and detail related safety aspects as a means of injury prevention. In addition, participants will learn how to read bodies to identify future problem areas and how to modify a yoga practice during the healing process. Also, teaching ourselves and our students  to approach the body with the yama of ahimsa is touching the
heart of the yoga practice as we benefit physically, emotionally, andspiritually from this maturing and freeing practice.

In this four hour workshop we will touch on the lumbar spine, sacrum, and shoulder
joint, looking at two poses for two different body types as case studies for each separate area in terms of anatomy, safe posture,
adjustments, and even teaching language. 

Please come with a pen and
paper!  This workshop is starting at 2:30.  Arrive having eaten a good meal two hours prior!  We'll take a 15 minute break about halfway
through.
